Integrating External Resources

There are many outside resources you can consider to supplement your own course material. Many are excellent and will enrich your course, especially when they include complex elements that are difficult to develop such as animation, multimedia, simulations, etc. However, one warning here: choose resources that will add value to your course, and do not give up your role as an instructor, depending solely on the outside resources for course content.

Are you aware of quality resources for your discipline that you would like to use? How will you integrate them into your course?

Publisher Content

Many publishers provide supplemental material such as CD, supplemental websites or course cartridges. Check with your publisher if you are not sure what is available to you and your students. Or start a search for another textbook that offers these additional resources.
